PANDA offers several building solutions through quality architectural concrete blocks and related products for architectural, industrial and domestic applications.
Who we are
Building Botswana since 1973.
PANDA grew from a quarry in Monarch, Francistown, acquired on 26 February 1973, into a group supplying construction materials across Botswana. Its operations bring together quarrying, concrete and clay manufacturing, plant and transport.
Today, PANDA supplies paving, masonry, clay bricks, precast concrete products and stone aggregate for domestic, architectural, industrial and civil projects. Factories in Francistown and Gaborone support customers in the north and south of Botswana.
The business combines practical product advice with a commitment to quality, safe working practices, environmental responsibility and staff development.

- 1973
A quarry in Monarch
PANDA acquired a quarry in Francistown on 26 February, installing crushing and screening facilities to supply concrete aggregate to local construction and trade customers.
- 1986
Plant hire begins
A plant hire operation was established in Pandamatenga on 17 November, supporting bush clearing and agricultural land development.
- 1989
Brickbuild takes shape
Brickbuild was registered on 13 July as a citizen-owned company under Mynco. Cement-brick production began in Francistown with two block machines and a delivery fleet.
- 2004
Operations come together
The brick plant moved to Monarch. The expanded site brought Panda Quarry, Panda Plant and Brickbuild together and created space for precast kerbstones and lintels.
- 2006–2008
Growth in Gaborone and precast
The Gaborone factory opened in 2006 with automated block production. In 2008, Francistown added culverts while Gaborone expanded its precast range.
- 2010 onwards
Clay products and connected supply
Dipotsana’s clay-brick factory began production in May 2010, with first sales in August. Investment in power infrastructure, plant and transport supported the wider manufacturing and supply network.
